Print
George started his Graphic Design career at one of the largest printing companies
in the southwest, which created the backbone to his success in print media.
He has worked with almost every imaginable print production process to produce
thousands of pieces. His work was among the 1st pieces to be printed on the
"direct-to-plate" digital printing presses. George has also developed several
color separation processes, by pushing the capabilities of print software
programs. In addition to the hundreds of print collateral pieces, George's
nationally recognized and award-winning print work has appeared in hundreds
of national magazines as well as every major newspaper in the United States.
Web
George
has designed dozens of web sites over the past decade. As Designer/Creative
Director of these sites, he has lead teams of web developers who used his
artwork & designs to make the sites come alive. Recently, George started creating
web sites on his own - code and all - including a massive site where he produced
30-40 new web pages a month! This is a very exciting new chapter in George's
career!
Broadcast
George started creating graphics for broadcast television in 1996. For over
7 years, he produced graphics and animation for a weekly, nationally syndicated
television show which aired on the Discovery Channel as well as every major
network affiliate in about 85% of the U.S. market. George has also created
dozens of logos for new television show pilots.
Identity
George's philosophy with identity (logos) is to keep them simple... very,
very simple! However, his #1 goal is to always make the client happy, so he
has even had to bend his own philosophy to achieve that goal. Most importantly,
the majority of the logos George has developed have achieved their purpose
- to identify the client or product without saying a word.
Illustration
One of George's passions early in life was drawing. After High School, he
pursued a Fine Arts degree, then changed his major to Commercial Art. He started
adding some structure and new tools to his artistic abilities then began his
career as a Graphic Designer. George's illustrations have appeared on everything
from billboards to World War II bombers.
